100th Nacho Ride!

What a great evening, wonderful weather and people showed up by the truckload. Just look at that line outside of the saloon! We had 157+ hungry bikers show up and Ken May won himself a nice $25 gift cert he can pick up on the next ride.

Unfortunately OEDS was a bit short staffed unexpectedly but they did their best to keep up with the demand. The Sheriff will be working hard to better accommodate the future swell of bikers!

The 5 day forecast shows 90 degrees and a 40% chance of showers. They said the same about this week and could it have been a better night? I look forward to seeing you all next week for another great ride.

A windy day in paradise

O.K. even though some jerk said the wind would die down on the facebook site we fought a bit of a breeze on the way to OEDS. Most of us survived, but hey sometimes there is a price to be paid for beer and Nachos. The ride back had a great view of the sunset and was quite pleasant if you had any energy left from the ride up.

Next week is the 100th ride! I hope to see you all there!

Nacho Ride Kickoff 2011!

Yes, it is the premier event of 2011 and you are invited! On May 3rd we are kicking off the 5th season of the Nacho Ride. Last year we were averaging 75 riders a week. We have come a long way from the 5 riders we started with!

This year we hit the 100th ride milestone in June! So dust off your nacho appetite, grab your bike, and head to the trail head at 84th and O. We will begin biking at 5:30 but you can come any time. After the 10 mile bike ride the beer will be frosty and the nachos will be large.
